How much Television is TOO Much television?.......

When either the content in TV and all Media, is flat out unGodly, or the quantity and quality takes pre-eminence over our spiritually Godly food that we nurture our spirit man with.

I mean, we could watch something as G-rated as Seseme Street, and not crack open our Bibles all day, and that 30 minutes, would take the pre-eminence over our spiritually-Godly food because we would be spiritually starving.

Then there's the issue of Quality Time in both personal bible study and worship. If I read my required 3 bible verses for the day, and not studied to show myself approved unto God--where's the quality?

Too much TV is any amount that keeps you from doing your daily God-given purpose. Coach laid it out perfectly when he said 'you have 24 hrs in a day...8 hrs to wk, 8 hrs to sleep, and 8 hrs to do something else.' If, for example, your purpose is a TV program critic / reviewer, then 8 hrs a day is not too much. If, however, your purpose is to be a pilot, then 8 hrs of TV is extremely extensive. Bottom line, did you 'observe and do all that God commanded you THIS day'...which is already gone.
