Create Your Dream Book!!!

Thursday, June 30th 2011 @ 1:44 PM    post viewed 427 times

Try this at home!

Start the process in making sure you birth your God given dream! The bible says in Habakkuk 2:2 "Write down the revelation and make it plain..."

There is a "birthing" process you must follow in order to convert your dream from a vision on the inside to a reality on the outside. Try the "birthing" (Lamaze) exercise below.
For this exercise let's make it simple*:

1. Write The Vision!: Write down one thing GOD desire's for you to achieve this next year. See yourself at the beginning and see yourself at the end of the moment! What does it look like? Can you see it in detail? What are you doing? Where are you doing it? Who are you doing it with?

2. How Will You Achieve This Goal?: Write down the steps to achieve your goal. What is the first thing you have to do in order to reach your goal? What is the last thing? Does it involve other people; do you have a commitment/agreement if so? Are you willing to stay committed to this goal no matter what obstacles arise?

3. Make A Plan! See It!: Make a visual "map" of your vision/goal. Make a "Dream/Vision" book! Find magazines, books, pictures and words that pertain to your vision/goal. Cut them out to glue into your "Dream/Vision" book. Show yourself the direction (process) you are taking to arrive at your destination! (Make sure to add pictures to your book. This will help to stimulate your thought process.)

4. Finally to guide you through your steps for acheiving your goal apply the "Hope to a Thing" principal. Explain in words how you are going to reach your goal using this process. As you create your book, show which part of the "Hope to a Thing" principle applies to each phase.

Hint 1: You can find "Hope To A Thing" online.
Hint 2: Seek wise counsel.
